Another fast way to place Fireworks images into another HTML document is by copying and pasting from Fireworks directly into another HTML editor, such as Dreamweaver or Adobe GoLive.
To copy and paste Fireworks HTML into another HTML editor:
1 | Choose Edit > Copy HTML Code. |
2 | Follow the wizard as it guides you through the settings for exporting your HTML and images. |
The wizard follows a process that results in exporting the images to a folder. The HTML is copied to the Clipboard. | |
3 | In your HTML editor, place the cursor in the location where you want to paste the HTML code. |
4 | Choose Edit > Paste, or the equivalent command. |

The HTML from Fireworks is pasted into the HTML file. When copying into Dreamweaver 3 or GoLive. All HTML and JavaScript associated with the Fireworks files you exported is copied into the HTML file, and all the links to the images are updated.
